How to create and activate a DirectOne account:

STEP 1 - Create an Account and talk to your bank

  • You need a DirectOne account for the secure payments service. Click here to register a new account.
  • You need an Internet Merchant Number from your bank. Click here for a list of bank contacts.
    Note: Merchant number associated with EFTPOS machines can't be used to accept credit card payments from a website.
  • There are several processes that can be done concurrently to save time. While your merchant service application is being assessed by the bank, you can integrate and test your DirectOne account for free with no obligation.

STEP 2 - Integrate your web site with your new account and test

STEP 3 - Account Activation

  • When you are finished testing and have an Internet merchant number from your bank your account can be activated. Click on the Members section to login and visit the Account Activation link.

    After you activate your DirectOne account, we will require 2 business days to configure your DirectOne account and test your bank merchant facility. Please ensure your account is activated well in advance of your intended go-live date.

STEP 4 - Going Live

  • DirectOne activates your account, tests your account and informs you via email
  • You switch your web site from taking test payments to taking live payments
  • Buy from your own web site to confirm correct account setup.
